Appointments are preferred, and walk ins are welcomed. Each appointment is for one patient only. At the time of booking, please advise of preferred GP. Alternatively, you may also book appointments online.
Doctors in this practice may be contacted by phone / email during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and your call returned as soon as possible. All requests for appointments, scripts etc should be directed to email@example.com
Referrals to a specialist may be made during the consultation. Standard referrals are valid for one year so please ensure you book an appointment before your referral runs out. Please call Specialist for Fees applicable.
Prescriptions may be written during a consultation. If you need repeat prescriptions, we ask that you make an appointment to see one of our doctors, where the condition for which the prescriptions are written can be checked. Prescriptions will NOT be written without an appointment.
Our practice is committed to ongoing preventative care. You will receive reminder notices for health care services appropriate to your care. If you do not want this service please let the doctor know.
Sometimes your doctor will order investigations such as blood tests or x-rays. For confidentiality reasons, please book in for a return appointment to discuss the results. Results WILL NOT be given over the phone.
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of your personal health information at all times and ensure this information is only available to authorized members of staff.
Patients have the right to request the Doctor of their choice when available. Doctors can advise patients of appropriate health choices in order for them to make informed decision.
If you require an interpreter please let us know when you book your appointment. We can book an interpreter via The Interpreter Services. This service is free of charge to patients who have a valid Medicare Card.
